We are very proud to announce that South Lawn Hotel has been awarded our Pets Welcome badge following a recent inspection.
Of course, anyone who has visited us with a four-legged friend will already know that pets are not just allowed at South Lawn. They are part of the family.
From wagging tails in reception to muddy paws after a New Forest walk, we love seeing dogs enjoy their holiday just as much as their humans. This new recognition is a lovely way of celebrating the welcome we have worked hard to create for pet owners and their companions.
A Stay Designed for Dogs and Their Humans

Around the hotel, you will also find practical touches such as water bowls, welcome treats, dog towels on request and dog waste bins.
Then, of course, there is one of our favourite features: doggy dining.
Because no dog wants to be left behind while their humans enjoy breakfast or dinner. Our dog-friendly dining area means guests can relax and eat while their pup settles nearby. There may even be a breakfast sausage involved, if their humans say yes.
