Earlier this year, South Lawn Hotel had the pleasure of welcoming Folkmog, the Morgan Car Club, for a memorable stay on the New Forest coastline.
With a shared love for classic cars, country roads and good company, Folkmog’s visit was a perfect fit for South Lawn. Their time with us brought together everything that makes this part of Hampshire so special: scenic drives, coastal views, relaxed hospitality and evenings spent dining together in our private Committee Room.
Who Are Folkmog?
Folkmog is the Eastern Counties Centre of the Morgan Sports Car Club, bringing together Morgan owners and enthusiasts from Norfolk and Suffolk.
Morgan cars have a character all of their own. Timeless, elegant and full of charm, they are made for the kind of roads that turn a simple journey into part of the experience. So when Folkmog chose the New Forest coastline for their visit, it was easy to see why.
From winding country lanes to open coastal roads, the local area offers the ideal setting for a classic car touring break.
A New Forest Coastline Itinerary
During their stay, the group enjoyed the best of the surrounding area, with a New Forest itinerary that made the most of our location here in Milford on Sea.
South Lawn is perfectly placed for motoring groups looking to explore the New Forest, the coast and nearby villages. From Milford on Sea, guests can head towards Keyhaven, Lymington, Brockenhurst, Beaulieu and beyond, with plenty of scenic routes, coffee stops and photo opportunities along the way.
For classic car clubs, the journey matters just as much as the destination and the New Forest certainly does not disappoint.
