At South Lawn Hotel, we are delighted to offer four Roxform Ignis E-Bikes for guest use, helping you discover more of the local area during your stay.
Guest E-Bike Use at South Lawn
Our e-bikes are ideal for guests who want to enjoy the coast without bringing their own bike. Whether you’re heading out for a gentle ride or cycling into Lymington, they make the journey smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable.
The bikes feature fat tyres for a stable ride, along with 8-speed gearing and powerful pedal assistance to help make even the coastal breeze feel easier.

We charge £15 for bike use until 3pm or from 4pm into the evening, and £25 for full day use per bike. This is a nominal fee that helps support the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the bikes.
Each guest will receive a backpack containing: Battery Charger, Key for Bike, Key for Lock, Multi Tool, Puncture Repair Kit, Pump and Spare Front & Rear Lights. We also provide a Safety helmet and on the bike a Phone Holder & Heavy Duty Lock.
You can reserve a bike at Reception, subject to availability. Before setting off, you will need to sign an Agreement & Liability Waiver form.
Recommended Route: The Sea Wall to Lymington
For a truly local experience, we recommend cycling from South Lawn Hotel down towards Keyhaven sea wall.
This scenic route offers beautiful views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight, with the peaceful, bird-rich salt marshes on the other side.
From Keyhaven, follow the flat path for approximately 4 miles into the historic market town of Lymington, where you can enjoy the shops, cafés, harbour, and cobbled streets at your own pace.
Peace of Mind in Lymington
If you are planning to explore Lymington on foot, our friends at New Forest Bikes, located near the Town Quay, are incredibly helpful.
If they have space available, they may be able to look after your bike while you shop. They can also assist with technical queries or minor adjustments if needed.
